Cannabis is becoming more socially acceptable with a growing audience but some consumers feel hesitant to jump into counter-culture or space-y cues that dominate edibles packaging.
Identifying that hesitation created an opportunity. Injecting permissibility into the brand, Sweet Talk encourages consumers to follow their desires and treat themselves. With a bitten-lip logo and bright, candy shop aesthetic paired with playfully-goading language, Sweet Talk delivers a flavor-led disruption to the category inviting newcomers and connoisseurs.
Beyond positioning and naming, the project included logo design, brand world development, packaging design, social and marketing rollout support. Perhaps the best part of the project was creating the in-store neon and Insta-worthy merch that became a vital component of how Sweet Talk connected with consumers.
